Me:

Dear _____

‘This is written out of love, because THIS IS THE TRUTH’ - since you clearly feel able to threaten me with never-ending punishment in Hell for disagreeing with you, you’re obviously pretty confident of that. So can you explain how you know it’s true, please?

Alex

Response:

Alex,

Have you ever lied? That makes you a liar.

Have you ever stolen anything? That makes you a thief.

Have you ever taken God’s name in vain? That would make you a blasphemer.

Have you ever looked at a someone you’re not married to with lust? that would make you an adultery.

God is holy, righteous and just. He cannot turn a blind eye to sin. The Bible says “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

You stand in a courtroom and you’re guilty of a crime, would a judge just let you go? No he wouldn’t. You could say I’m a good person, or I don’t do anyone any harm but the judge if he isn’t corrupt is still going to have to punish you.

God’s place of punishment is hell. Hell you could say is like a prison.

But do you know what God did so you wouldn’t have to go hell.

God became a man. (Jesus Christ).

Was born of a virgin.

Lived a perfect and sinless life, that you and I could never live.

Shed his precious blood on the cross (died), was buried and rose again on the third day.

Meaning that we can go to heaven if we just believe on Jesus Christ. The Bible says “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , and shalt believe in thing heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Alex, my previous email wasn’t a threat. It was a warning. I care about people and love them enough to tell them the truth. You may not see it like that…

If you think this is all there is then, okay. I have got nothing to worry about then. But if your wrong you face an eternity in hell. God gives you that choice. If you live your life without God, then why would you want to spend an eternity with Him? God gives you that option heaven or hell. The devil has blinded the eyes of those that do not believe, he is the god of this world. Alex, eternity is a very long time to be wrong. I don’t know how old you are but anyway you’re still alive and still have that option. We all die, lets face it! But our soul goes to hell if we reject Christ or heaven if we accept Him.

Its up to you!

Me:

Dear _____

I understand what claims you’re making. Rather than tell me what will happen to me if they’re true, please provide logical or empirical support for them.
Alex

Response:

If you have some time available, perhaps you’d like to watch this short film called “End of the harvest”.

Here is the link http://hi.cross.tv/37033

“A college philosophy club meeting filled with atheists humiliate a new believer as he tries to prove to them the existence of God. As a result, a Christian out of fellowship with the Lord seeks revenge. He comes across a paper written 50 years ago regarding a theory a man had about when the world might end. With the paper in hand, he sets up a showdown with the club for their next meeting!”

Me:

No. I wouldn’t. I’d like you to explain, yourself, how you know what you’ve told me is true.

Alex

Response:

Thats too bad!

You would have learnt something from it!
Theres that word again “logical”. You atheists call yourself “freethinkers” right? but then again you all think a like.
Alex, why don’t you humbly ask the God of the Bible to show you. And if you sincerely mean it with all your heart He will. If you really want the truth, you shall find it.
You can include my name on your website. Its fine.
I haven’t got anything to hide.

Me:

I was a devout Christian for over 75 percent of my life. I’ve had apparent experiences of communication with God and read the Bible cover to cover many times - more times than you, quite possibly, and in more languages.

This is irrelevant, because you haven’t met your claims’ burden of proof. Subjective, anecdotal experiences don’t count as sufficient evidence. Please explain logically or empirically how you know what you say is true.
