Are there only three possible options?

What about the person who also does good because of religious faith, but neither to gain reward nor to escape punishment? This person has no pretensions about being good in an of him or herself, but their confidence and assurance in their faith inspires them to act for others because their focus is no longer on themselves, either to gain for themselves, nor to claim any credit for themselves
