The word "doctor" is latin for "teacher."

"Divinity" means either

  1. the quality or state of being divine -- a divine being (god or goddess), or
  2. a fudge made of whipped egg whites, sugar and nuts.

Given that this is an apathetic agnostic institution which claims no knowldge of "divinities" of the first type, then the only "doctor of divinity" relevant here is that of a teacher of the making of candy.[1]
