Being "nothing."

Dear Wendy,

I recognise the problem of being 'nothing'. This problem even exists for those of us who belong to small, not widely known, religious organisations.

Of course I agree with you that not to belong to any religious group is not the same as believing nothing, if that is even remotely possible.

What name to call yourself then? I wouldn't worry about sticking a label on yourself. It is ultimately not important.

I would like to ask you one question: Do you really believe in tolerance so much that you are tolerant of people believing whatever they want to believe? There are some pretty dangerous beliefs out there.

My point: Even when respecting the other's right to find his own way to his own truth, there are some limits.

Do you agree? Where would you set limits?
