Meditation 137
I've heard from God!

(yet I remain agnostic.)

Just as I was finalizing the end of July update, I received a message from God. He actually took the time out of His busy schedule to fill in the comments form, and let me know what He thought of the web site and me.

His opening salutation was "You Moron." I won't bother sharing the rest of the message with you, it went downhill from there. But it does seem that God is just a tad annoyed with me.

It must have been God because He filled in "God" in the name field; and God wouldn't lie.

But He erred in entering His email address; it was invalid. That is a strange mistake for a perfect Being.

But that doesn't matter. I know where He lives because the comments form captures data about the User's computer. From that information I now know that God lives in the USA, something which many believing Americans already suspected.

I also know state and city, but I won't report that here; I don't want to make other cities jealous.

Then again, perhaps it wasn't God after all; just one of the several Christian pea-brains who amuse themselves by sending such messages. I'd just like to say this to that person:

If there is a God, then you are going to burn! As Exodus 20, verse 7 states 'Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.'

Sending abusive messages signed 'God" is certainly taking His name in vain.

Isn't it amazing the way individuals who want to force their religion upon others cannot follow the basic rules of that religion?
