If science is just trying to explain the Christian deity's principles in motion, then why has religion fought against nearly every scientific discovery since before recorded history? And what does Mr. Hancock not understand about the term scientific? ID was rejected, not because is it not a fact (though it isn't), but because it is not scientific.

He also makes the common assumption that evolution and religion are mutually exclusive, not bothering to actually research that the Evolution Theory does not account for the very beginnings of the world and its inhabitants, nor does it claim to. This is a subject that has been addressed on this very site. I don't claim to know everything, or even a great deal, but I feel physical pain when I read the opinions of the ill informed.
