The seven "Proofs of God's Existence" provided by David Harris in the previous item demonstrate the very point being made in Meditation 13. And we don't have to address the issue that none of the "proofs" provided is a proof, rather each of them is just an hypothesis.

The first proof he provided (which is provably false as written) is no more than Plato's second proof - believe in the gods because most people do.

As for David's second proof along with 4 through 7, each of them is an assertion that something exists, it must have come from somewhere, and that must have been from god. Thus they are all just variations on Plato's first proof - that something must have created the world, the sun, the moon, the stars and the order therein, and that something must have been the gods.

And David's third proof - well it's nothing more than a very simplified version of St. Anselm's proof.
