The Apathyology symbol
The symbol for Apathyology is easy to understand. The main part of it is made from the overlapping of the mathematical symbols of "less than" (<) and "greater than" (>). By overlapping, they represent a canceling out of each other. They indicate a state of having neither positive nor negative energy.
ap·a·thy n. 1. Lack of interest or concern, especially regarding matters of general importance or appeal; indifference. 2. Lack of emotion or feeling; impassiveness.
The dot, or eye, in the middle represents wisdom, or the introspection, needed to use selective apathy. As energy can be a useful tool, so can the lack of energy. The wisdom of either - is how to use it. The first step is to study it.
